Salon Safety Measure and Guidelines

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND YOUR APPOINTMENT IF YOU HAVE ANY COVID-19 SYMPTOMS, OR IF YOU HAVE BEEN AROUND ANYONE WHO HAS SYMPTOMS OR HAS TESTED POSITIVE IN THE LAST 14 DAY

Staff Procedure

  • We will all be wearing face masks/visors and for close up work, we will be adding disposable aprons and fresh gloves for each client.

  • All of our equipment and surfaces will be cleaned and sanitised in between appointments throughout the day.

  • We are operating the 1m+ Social Distancing rule. Your only close contact will be with your booked stylist.

Client Procedure

  • Please bring a face mask. Upon arrival, we will request that you sanitise/wash your hands. We will provide a disposable gown.

  • We will ask you to either leave your coats in your cars or place them in your bags. This will ensure that your belongings do not come into contact with anyone else’s.

  • We will ask to take your temperature upon arrival using a contactless infrared thermometer as a standard precautionary measure. You will also be asked to complete a short health questionnaire - your name, address and contact details. These details will not be shared and kept under strict GDPR conditions. We just want to make sure all bases are covered to stop the spread of the virus.


Salon Procedure

  • We are using disposable towels for your safety and ours, to ensure everything in the salon that we use during your appointment is disposed of correctly and there’s no risk of cross-contamination.

  • We are using a one on one policy, thus, limiting staff production and may mean our days off work/hours may vary from one week to the next.

  • Wig fittings will now be strictly limited to 45 minutes, and only 3 wigs are permitted to be tried on during each fitting in accordance with wig manufacturer guidelines.

  • During wig fittings, we will only be working with new wigs, straight out of the box.

  • We will not be working with or handling any display wigs; We will only use new wigs straight from the box.

  • There will be no waiting area, which means you have to come on your own to your appointment and we will call / text you to let you know when we are ready to invite you into the salon for your appointment.

  • We are not able to offer magazines or drinks in the salon as it isn’t possible to keep them virus free. We also cannot allow you to bring in food or drinks from outside, as you cannot remove your mask whilst in the salon. We do hope these strict measures are temporary and short term until the distancing rules are eased by the government.

  • Our main salon area is fully marked with distancing indicators for yours and ours. However, we will be using our private rooms whenever possible.



Extra Information

Please, please, please DO NOT BE LATE for your appointment, we are reliant on the support and respect of our customers to be able to operate effectively and deliver our reputable service albeit with our ‘new normal’ in place. If you are late, every further appointment through the day is likely to be delayed, so we respectfully ask you to be on time, but if you are late, we may have to turn you away and you could still be charged.

There will be no dry cuts or fringe trims for the foreseeable, as we must only work with freshly shampooed hair.

Children’s cuts will still be available. However, the children’s pricing will NOT be available for the immediate future and will be priced as adults. This is due to the time commitments that we will have to book out and children must be at an age where they can have their hair shampooed in-house (if your child is at an age where they need to be accompanied by an adult please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you whilst still adhering to our social distance policy)

Colourwork - we expect you to be completely honest with us about any home colours you may have used ahead of your appointment, as this will affect the length of time your appointment could take and might dictate the need for tests beforehand.

We are not accepting cash payments for the foreseeable. We appreciate your understanding around this and assure you that as soon as this changes we will let you know.

We are maintaining a strict appointment booking system, late cancellations, late arrivals, no shows result in someone else missing out and lost revenue to the salon.
